ART OF WAR

Not every battle roars with flame,

Or marches loud in drums of pride;

Some wars are won before they’re named,

Where silent thoughts and plans reside.

A sharpened mind outblades the sword,

A patient heart outlasts the storm;

The wisest warrior strikes a chord

That bends the fight before it’s born.

He studies winds, he reads the land,

He knows himself, he knows his foe;

Victory rests in careful hands

That choose the when—and when to slow.

For strength alone is not the key,

Nor fury’s fire, nor iron might;

The art of war is clarity—

To end the war without the fight.

In shadows cast by rising suns,

Where courage walks with calm control,

The greatest triumph ever won

Is mastering one’s own soul.

Victory whispers, never screams;

It lives where discipline is sworn—

For wars are conquered first in dreams,

Long before the break of dawn.
