<p>She stepped out of her parents room that evening feeling indifferent. Not angry, not bitter. She was no longer the child that longed for love, like she had been since she discovered that money doesn't equal love.</p><p><br/></p><p>If it had been a few weeks back, she'd have thrown a lot of tantrums. She'd have cried and tried to make them understand where she was coming from.</p><p><br/></p><p> Not this evening though... And in a few years, her parents will finally realize that they burned the bridge that should have been the relationship with their daughter, and it'll be a little too late for amends..</p>
