Oluwakemi is a girl who is still becoming. She is the kind of person who can spend hours thinking about life, people, relationships, school, the future, and somehow still end up thinking about what she wants to cook later. 😂 She loves food. Not just eating it, but understanding it. The kitchen has always felt like more than a kitchen to her. It carries memories, comfort, creativity, and a dream she hopes to turn into something real someday. She is also a writer. She takes little things and gives them meaning. A pot of stew can become a lesson about life. A pinch of salt can become a reminder that small things matter. Growing up can become a story. Sometimes she doesn't even realize how much she has to say until she starts typing. Oluwakemi is a student too, and school has definitely tested her. There have been moments of confusion, stress, deadlines, and that familiar “God abeg, I have an exam tomorrow” feeling. 😭 But somehow, she keeps showing up. She asks questions when she doesn't understand. She wants things explained simply. She wants to actually KNOW, not just cram. She is curious. She can jump from political economy to cooking terms, from relationships to random questions about a TV show, and somehow everything makes sense in her head. 😂 She feels things deeply. When she loves, she cares. When something hurts her, she thinks about it. When something matters to her, she doesn't pretend it doesn't. But she's also learning that caring deeply doesn't mean she has to lose herself in the process. She loves her own company too. Sometimes she just wants to stay in one place, use her phone, think, relax, imagine recipes, write, and exist in her own little world. And then there's the ambitious side of her. There is a girl somewhere inside Oluwakemi who doesn't just want to dream about becoming a chef or owning a food business. She wants to actually build it. She has even imagined a brand, a kitchen, menus, recipes, and what her future could look like. She is still young, still learning, still making mistakes, still changing her mind about some things, and still discovering parts of herself. But maybe that's the beautiful part. Oluwakemi doesn't have everything figured out. She is simply becoming—one lesson, one meal, one page, one experience, one mistake, one prayer, and one day at a time. And if you ask me who she is?
