Connections

Thought about an old teacher today, but she was more than a teacher to me.

I think we underestimate the impact certain people can have on our lives especially if they are only there for a short period of time.

How did I remember this amazing teacher?

I was rewatching Outer Banks cause I wanted to be refreshed for the new season (movie buff over here!). I won't bore you with details but hearing a particular name in the show reminded me of the nickname this teacher had for me and it made me remember what a close relationship we had. She was so intuitive of my feelings, very in touch with me as a person, always encourage and motivated me, when I fell she helped me stand back up.

But then life happened and I had to move on to a new class, but I never forget this teacher because her impact on me was so massive.

I guess in summary what I'm saying is don't take the people you have in your life right now for granted and also keeping growing, evolving, making connections. Your future self will thank you for it.
