Consistency or Stupidity: Which Is It?
<p>We are often told that consistency is the key to success—the ability to keep showing up, putting in the work, and trusting the process until the results eventually come.</p><p><br/></p><p>But then a question arises: if consistency means doing the same thing repeatedly until it works, how is that different from stupidity, which is often described as doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result?</p><p><br/></p><p>The difference lies in growth.</p><p><br/></p><p>Consistency is repeating effort while learning, adapting, and improving along the way. Stupidity is repeating the same mistakes without reflection or adjustment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Showing up every day is admirable, but showing up every day without evaluating what's working and what isn't can keep you stuck. Persistence creates progress only when it is paired with awareness.</p><p><br/></p><p>So perhaps the real goal isn't just consistency—it's intelligent consistency.</p>
