DEATH, WHERE IS THY STING
<p>I love life, I love how beautiful it is and I love cruel it can be sometimes </p><p>I love how life can humble you really fast in different ways.</p><p>However there's one concept I love so much about life which is DEATH </p><p>I'm not a dark person, I just fancy it sometimes </p><p>Different religions see death in different light </p><p><br/></p><p>African traditional religion sees death as the transition into an ancestral realm which we call them "ancestors"</p><p><br/></p><p>Christianity sees death as your soul leaving your body and going to the heavens, receiving your judgement. Sometimes as an end to the suffering and pain of this world.</p><p><br/></p><p>Islam sees death a transition of the earthly life to a eternal realm, a predetermined decree from Allah</p><p><br/></p><p>Hinduism sees death as a continuation of life and a means of rebirth.</p><p><br/></p><p>Different definition from different people and different walk of life </p><p>Scientists also sees death as part of life, every living thing has to die </p><p><br/></p><p>One unique thing about death is that everyone gets it, that's the fairest thing the mother universe gives to all</p><p><br/></p><p>It's also humbling, regardless of what you've done, what you have achieved, what you'll be and won't be, death has a way of humbling you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I pause and think, the people who died:</p><p>Don't they have better dreams than me?</p><p>Don't they pray harder than me?</p><p>Aren't they financially buoyant than I am?</p><p>Aren't they intelligent than me?</p><p>Myriads of questions </p><p><br/></p><p>I've come to accept the fact that death doesn't care, you're not too special to die and you're not too young to die </p><p><br/></p><p>I saw death differently on two occasions </p><p>When a church member who was clearly the mother's older son and bread winner, 100% active in church and calm as a person can possibly be died, it sparked a question </p><p>When a friend said his only sister died because of breast cancer </p><p><br/></p><p>First child, only child, bread winner, life of the party, introvert, extrovert, CEO, security officer, most beautiful girl in your school, most active guy in your church, gentle reminder that death doesn't care.</p><p><br/></p><p>Hopefully death doesn't come to us in the most cruel and excruciating way</p><p>My thought is that death will close the gates of this earth when everything ends.</p><p><br/></p>
