<p>A man may need time to know you.</p><p>He may need time to understand your personality, observe your character, learn your values, see how you handle conflict, understand your expectations and determine whether the two of you are actually compatible.</p><p>That is reasonable.</p><p>But at some point, a decision has to be made.</p><p>One of the biggest mistakes some women make is spending years interpreting a man's indecision as love.</p><p>“He loves me. He just needs more time.”</p><p>“He knows I'm the one. He's just not ready.”</p><p>“He has been with me for six years. Surely he will marry me.”</p><p>My sister, years in a relationship are not a marriage promise.</p><p>A man can genuinely enjoy your company, care about you, be attracted to you, miss you when you're away and still not have made the decision to marry you.</p><p><br/></p><p>And this is where some women get stuck.</p><p><br/></p><p>He is getting the companionship, affection, emotional support and benefits of the relationship, while she is waiting for the relationship to become what he has never actually committed to making it.</p><p><br/></p><p>If he wants to marry you, there should eventually be movement in that direction.</p><p><br/></p><p>You get this? </p><p><br/></p>
