Depression
<p>The word depression, to many, sounds like some chic clinical mental health situation</p><p>but it is something much deeper.</p><p><br/></p><p>It is many days and nights of consistent sobs, </p><p>a frail body, a tired heart, </p><p>whispered prayers carried away by the night, </p><p>hopelessness settling behind pale eyes, </p><p>and a mind so exhausted that even living begins to feel unbearably heavy.</p><p><br/></p><p>It is never just a word.</p><p>At least, the experience never looked like one. </p><p><br/></p><p>It is waking up and not knowing how to find yourself again,</p><p>it is desperately crying for help while having no idea how to explain what was wrong,</p><p>it is watching clarity turn into confusion, watching the spark in us grow dim, </p><p>and wondering if it would ever find its way back.</p><p><br/></p><p>Depression is not just a chic clinical mental health situation.</p><p>It is a quiet rebellion to one's soul.</p><p><br/></p><p>©Goke's Pen</p><p>~TheHealingPoet🤍</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
