<p>In a time when many are craving for marriage, others are skipping out of it because of some dysfunctionalities in marriages. A dysfunctional family is one in which conflict and instabilities are common. In such a family, parents despise each other, abuse and neglect children.</p>
<p>Most people looking at this dysfunctionalities at a distance and say "being together and unhappy is better than being alone and happy." However, being alone is comforting but being together brings good returns according to Amos 3:3 and Ecc 4:9-12</p>
<p><strong>Characteristics of a dysfunctional family</strong></p>
<p>To overcome these dysfunctionalities, we must understand that there is no perfect person.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Therefore, each partner especially men must be flexible to making their home better. The reverse of these dysfunctionalities are possible solutions to fixing the home</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><br></p><p style="text-align: justify;">π A dysfunctional family can be seen when someone enjoy company outside than at home.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π Some men keep a sense stern atmosphere because they don't provide. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">π Gossip on little issues between husband and wife with outsiders brakes the home.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π An unfaithful partner</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π Dirtiness of some women brings dysfunctionality. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When communication is not free and open at home.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When the ex of a partner is introduced to the other and yet, he/she spends more time together than with their spouse.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When there is discrimination at home with children (a spouse chooses some children over others).</p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When the spouse bring home office authority and professionalism and there is no room for jokes. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When a partner spends more time at work than with the spouse. </p><p style="text-align: justify;">π When sex is constantly being postponed. 1 Cor 7:3-5</p><p style="text-align: justify;">When communication is free and clear, even at a fault, the flame of love will be rekindled. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br></p><p style="text-align: justify;">π Financial mismanagement and non transparency in finance.
