That Is Not Love. Please Run.

If someone tells you, or if you tell yourself, "He hit me because he loves me," please know this truth right now: That is a lie. It is one of the most dangerous and hurtful lies there is.

Love is safe. Love is gentle. Love is respectful. It does not hurt you, it does not scare you, and it certainly does not leave bruises. There is no confusion here: a person who truly loves you will never use their hands to cause you pain. Hitting you is not a mistake; it is a choice to use violence and control.

When someone hurts you and then says, "I was upset," or "You made me do it," or "It’s because I care so much," they are trying to trick you. They are trying to shift the blame from their awful choice to your own actions or even to the feeling of "love." This is a pattern of abuse. It doesn't get better on its own; it almost always gets worse and more dangerous.

Your safety and your happiness are the most important things. If you are reading this and this is your life, the time to decide to leave is now. You are strong enough to walk away. You deserve a life where you feel calm, respected, and totally safe every single day.

Please, run. Find a safe place. Tell a friend, a family member, or call a helpline, it could be anyone or any place. There are people who will believe you and who want to help you escape and heal. What you are going through is not your fault, and you absolutely deserve real, kind, and non-violent love.

At the end of each month, we give out cash prizes to 5 people with the best insights in the past month
as well as coupon points to 15 people who didn't make the top 5, but shared high-quality content.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
