I Saw This Quote and It Made Me Pause....
<p>YOU WILL GET THERE. BUT RIGHT NOW, YOU’RE HERE. AND HERE CAN BE BEAUTIFUL TOO......</p><p><br/></p><p>I came across this quote sometime last month, and it stayed with me.</p><p>I wanted to write about it then, but I was close to 15 posts, so I didn’t want to risk getting banned 😅</p><p>But today, I finally decided to put my thoughts into words.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe because sometimes, I need to be reminded of this too.</p><p><br/></p><p>I think we spend so much time thinking about where we want to be that we forget to acknowledge where we are.</p><p><br/></p><p>We keep saying, When I graduate, I’ll be happy.</p><p>When I get that job, things will be better.</p><p>When I make more money, I’ll finally relax.</p><p>When I become the person I want to be, then I’ll be proud of myself.</p><p><br/></p><p>Always when.</p><p><br/></p><p>Always waiting for the next thing.</p><p><br/></p><p>And honestly, there’s nothing wrong with wanting more. We should have dreams. We should want better for ourselves. We should keep growing.</p><p><br/></p><p>But somewhere along the way, I think we forget to live.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because what if the version of you that you are today deserves to be appreciated too?</p><p><br/></p><p>What if this season isn’t as meaningless as you think?</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you’re not where you want to be yet, but you’ve come a long way from where you used to be.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you’re still figuring things out, but you’re learning.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe you’re not as successful as you hoped you’d be by now, but you’re still trying.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe your life doesn’t look the way you imagined it would, but there are still beautiful moments hiding inside it.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I think that’s what this quote reminded me of.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can look forward to “there” without hating “here.”</p><p><br/></p><p>You can want more and still be grateful for what you have.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can have big dreams and still enjoy the small moments.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can be a work in progress and still be proud of yourself.</p><p><br/></p><p>So, if you’re reading this and you feel like you’re behind, I hope you remember that you will get there.</p><p><br/></p><p>But don’t rush through this chapter just because you’re excited for the next one.</p><p><br/></p><p>Pause sometimes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Look around.</p><p><br/></p><p>Appreciate yourself.</p><p><br/></p><p>Appreciate the little things.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because one day, you might look back at “here” and realize that it was beautiful too 🤍🌷</p>
