<p>I can't replace you and that's okay. </p><p>I'm almost upset I spent more time trying to replace you, to get over you than just being present.</p><p>For the longest time, I was hung up on the feeling that I was meant for you, but you didn't see it that way and it upset me.</p><p>I remember having such unpleasant feelings because things didn't go the way I wanted, you never wanted me the way I wanted, and I became a victim of my internalized fears and self-loathing.</p><p>I'm tired of that.</p><p>I choose no longer to be directed by such unnecessary feelings; they do not serve me.</p><p>I thought I was meant for you, but the truth is you're not meant for me maybe not now, maybe not ever and I can live with that.</p><p>I'd rather not want you than not have you in my life in whatever capacity you can provide.</p><p>I'm choosing to be content with you as you are.</p>
