<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The weekend is here again, and like a flash, it will end soon.</p><p>How about we choose ourselves this weekend?</p><p>Let's put aside the worries of yesterday and tomorrow <br/></p><p><br/></p><p>At this point in my life, I've realized that if I don't love myself, who will? </p><p><br/></p><p>That's why I will always give myself hugs and several pats on the head, accompanied by a "well done, I'm proud of you".</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, I'm the one who causes the problem, the one who overthinks the problem, the one who cries about the problem, and finally, the one who tells herself, "Barakat, don't worry, everything will be fine." </p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, it's not always easy; even at weekends, you can still get frustrated.</p><p><br/></p><p>You'll go through things you can't even explain, smile like everything is under control, and somehow still advise other people on how to get their lives together. </p><p><br/></p><p>But this weekend, we're choosing peace.</p><p><br/></p><p> If nobody checks on us, we'll check on ourselves. </p><p>If nobody appreciates our efforts, we'll clap for ourselves.<br/></p><p> If nobody hugs us, we'll hug ourselves.<br/></p><p> And if life decides to humble us again, we'll cry small, wipe our tears, and continue like the responsible adults we're pretending to be. <br/></p><p><br/></p><p>After all, who says you can't be your own favourite person? </p><p><br/></p><p>Happy weekend, everyoneee! </p><p><br/></p><p>May we receive good news, enough money to enjoy ourselves, and at least one person who won't add to our problems. </p><p>Amen!<br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
