<p>Let’s talk about wisdom teeth,</p><p>the way they arrive late, uninvited,</p><p>pushing through soft places</p><p>that were never widened.</p><p><br/></p><p>They grow when you’re “ready,” they say,</p><p>when love has already taught you ache,</p><p>when your mouth remembers holding things in,</p><p>when silence learned how to break.</p><p><br/></p><p>Wisdom teeth hurt because space runs out,</p><p>because growth doesn’t ask permission.</p><p>Just like relationships that crowd your chest</p><p>and call the pressure transition.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some love comes crooked, half-revealed,</p><p>stuck under skin, not fully through.</p><p>Food gets trapped, pain settles in,</p><p>infection blooms from “me and you.”</p><p><br/></p><p>You try to chew. You try to speak.</p><p>Opening up feels hard to do.</p><p>They tell you, wait, it’s natural,</p><p>as if pain means it’s meant for you.</p><p><br/></p><p>But wisdom teeth don’t mean you’re wise.</p><p>They mean you’ve changed, outpaced your frame.</p><p>Some things must grow all the way out</p><p>or be removed to heal the same.</p><p><br/></p><p>So yeah, let’s talk about wisdom teeth,</p><p>and THE love that hurts before it ends.</p><p>I just thought to let you know,</p><p>Not everything that grows inside you</p><p>was meant to stay your friend.</p>
