LIFE ON THE STREET: DIFFERENT PEOPLE, DIFFERENT GOALS
<p style="text-align: justify; ">Walk down any busy street and look around for a moment.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Everyone seems to be going somewhere.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">A trader is trying to make a sale. A student is thinking about the future. A worker is rushing to meet someone. Someone is returning home. Someone else is leaving home with no idea how the day will end.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Same street. Different people. Different goals. Different lives.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">And the interesting part is that none of them truly knows what the next minute holds.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">We make plans for tomorrow, next week, next month, even next year. </p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“I have something to do tomorrow.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "> “My birthday is next month.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "> “This Christmas, I'll go to the park.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">We plan as though tomorrow belongs to us.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">But tomorrow has never been promised.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Waking up in the morning does not guarantee that we'll see the evening. Yet somehow, we keep moving, with hope, with plans, with dreams.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Maybe that's what makes life beautiful and frightening at the same time.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">The sun watches the street during the day. The moon takes over at night. Summer comes, winter follows, autumn passes, spring returns—and through every season, people continue carrying their little worlds on their shoulders.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Some are winning. Some are struggling. Some are pretending to be fine.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You may never know which one is which.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">So live.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Not recklessly, but intentionally. Don't allow people to dictate the pace of your life. Don't become so obsessed with what is or what will be that you forget what is happening now. And don't let vanity make you forget how temporary everything is.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Life is a process. Whatever you're going through is a stage, not the end of the story. A chapter can close without the book being finished.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; "><strong>As I quote: </strong></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“We know not of our beginning, but only heard stories from others as we grow; and we know not of our end, as people will tell the stories as they deem fit.” — <strong>EDDER</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; "><strong>And as Winston Churchill once said:</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“This is not the end, not even the beginning of the end, but perhaps the end of the beginning.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Maybe that's life.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Different people. Different goals. Different chapters.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">But eventually, every story becomes a story told by someone else however they remember it.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">And by then, you can no longer correct the narrative.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; "><strong>Because the dead do not speak.</strong></p>
