MONDAY RUSH IS REAL

Monday has never been a normal day. Monday is a debt collector.

It doesn't knock. It doesn't say good morning. It kicks your door and says "Oya, give me everything you promised yourself last week."

And you are there, looking like someone who just escaped from somewhere. One shoe on, one shoe missing. Hair looking like it had its own weekend party. Coffee spilling. Tote bag half-packed. Laptop open with a meeting that started 2 minutes ago that you are still trying to join with your camera off.

The funniest part is Sunday night. On Sunday night, you are a responsible adult. You plan everything. "I will wake by 5am, I will iron my clothes, I will prepare lunch, I will be at my desk by 8am, I will be productive." You even set 7 alarms with 5 minutes interval. You told yourself "I have changed."

Then Monday morning comes and all 7 alarms start sounding like enemies. You snooze one, you snooze two, you tell yourself "just 5 more minutes" that 5 minutes turns to 45 minutes and now you are running around the house like you are being chased by your own promises.

Monday exposes us all. It shows you that you didn't iron the clothes you said you will iron. That you didn't charge your laptop. That you didn't buy bread. That you didn't rest well on Sunday because you were scrolling till 1am. Now Monday is here to collect all those lies.

But the truth about Monday rush is, it is not a sign that you are not organized. It is a sign that you are trying. Trying to hold work, house, family, dreams, traffic, and still hold yourself together. That is not easy.

Everybody is rushing today. The girl doing makeup in traffic. The guy eating bread while walking fast. The woman shouting on phone "I am on my way!" when she is still at home wearing towel. We are all in the same movie, same chaos, same rush.

So if your Monday started rough with coffee on your shirt, with one sock missing, with your alarm disgracing you breathe. You are not late to life. You are just in the rush hour of becoming.

You will catch up. Your bag will zip. Your coffee will stop spilling. Your brain will start functioning after the second cup.

For now, survive the rush. Monday always calms down by afternoon. It always does.
