<p>And just like that I heard myself whisper, </p><p><br/></p><p>"Lord, why are you doing this to me?" </p><p><br/></p><p>Why am I going through this Lord? After all I've done for you? </p><p><br/></p><p>I watch as people who don't serve you as much as I do suceed. I watch people who don't seem to do as much as I've done for you smile. </p><p><br/></p><p>I deserve to suceed more than they do. </p><p><br/></p><p>I deserve to be happier than they are, </p><p><br/></p><p>After everything I've done for you Lord I deserve to always be happy. </p><p><br/></p><p>I keep myself pure for you,</p><p>I give my offerings,</p><p>I read my bible and pray,</p><p>I- </p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly I am reminded of the people you spoke of in Mathew. </p><p><br/></p><p>Who will cry out to you in the last days saying,</p><p>Lord we did this in your name, we did that in your name.</p><p>But yet you did not know them. </p><p><br/></p><p>Humble me Oh Lord,</p><p>For it is not my works that determine your blessings, </p><p><br/></p><p>It is your love, </p><p><br/></p><p>For it is not my power that gets me to heaven, </p><p><br/></p><p>It is your grace. </p><p><br/></p><p>And thanks to that grace</p><p>All men, may come to know YOU are Lord. </p><p><br/></p><p>Not I,</p><p>But YOU.</p><p><br/></p>
