<p>The story I'm about to tell you has three parts. Two truths and a lie. And your job is to figure out which one is the lie.</p><p><br/></p><p>PROLOGUE</p><p><br/></p><p>I loved that man. God, I loved that man so much. I saw a future with him. </p><p>I even studied his siblings' features so I'd get an idea of what our kids would look like.</p><p>I imagined him becoming successful and me, his star wife, being by his side and telling everyone about our perfect love story.</p><p>I'd tell everyone how he treated me so well, how he worshipped the ground I walked on.</p><p>How he kowtowed to me, called me a freaking goddess and said he'd lay down his life for me.</p><p>But it would have been all a lie.</p><p>You see, to the best of my knowledge, he was the most loyal man but because of that, he felt like he was doing me a huge favour and that was how he manipulated me into falling in love with the future image of him I had in my head.</p><p>I must have forgotten that my name is Favour.</p><p>And do you want to know when it fell apart?</p><p>Do you want to know why I don't want anything to do with this man anymore?</p><p>Because he asked for it.</p><p>You know, that one thing I said I wouldn't give him until he put a ring on my finger.</p><p><br/></p><p>The audacity is unnerving.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was then, that I started to see things in HD.</p><p>Even my 'minus 4' myopic vision became clearer than it ever had been.</p><p>Then I asked myself these questions.</p><p>"How could I pour so much and give so much to someone and all that person wanted to do was to keep taking?"</p><p>"How could one person be so selfish?"</p><p>"How could one person claim to love me yet all he wanted was my soul, was to drain me of everything I had, till every last drop of blood leaked out of me?"</p><p>Then I realized, he wasn't ready to do what it takes to be with an angel like me so he settled for mediocrity. </p><p>A chance to evade growth.</p><p>But you see, when the Devil can't get you, he'll send you a man like mine. </p><p>But because you're in control of your reality. </p><p>Because you're the one writing your story, it's important that you turn the pages of your Bible to Psalms 27 and do what your Sunday School teacher taught you to do.</p><p><br/></p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1771026924985.png"/></p><p>MIDDLE PART.</p><p><br/></p><p>I once met a man.</p><p>We both had a lot in common.</p><p>It wasn't love. It was something more than that.</p><p>We both derived pleasure from pain.</p><p>The looks we got from the salespeople at the toy stores would never leave my head.</p><p><br/></p><p>They've been engraved in my mind like his name is, on a fresh headstone somewhere in a graveyard.</p><p><br/></p><p>No, we didn't ask for the regular toys.</p><p>We asked for the ones that could make you have seizures for 2 hours straight then you'd pass out for a whole day.</p><p><br/></p><p>This was our sacred ritual, the one that made our bond grow stronger.</p><p>But one day, after we both passed out on the cold marble floor, he didn't wake up.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not after 24 hours. Not after 48 hours.</p><p>He just lay there still, cold and blue.</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1771026935277.png"/></p><p><br/></p><p>EPILOGUE.</p><p><br/></p><p>"How are you going to spend Valentines this year?" </p><p>Everyone keeps asking.</p><p>I don't know what to tell them.</p><p>Not because I don't have plans but because just like every other day, February 14th will come and go and it's not worth my sanity.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I'll surely be living life vicariously through all of you.</p><p><em>My neighbor definitely sees the man who walks through my door and out of my door every Saturday and this Saturday is no exception.</em></p><p><br/></p><p>Now, which one is the lie?</p><p>Let me give you a clue: I recently started this thing where I lie a lot. </p><p>So who knows, my rules may be nothing more than fiction. </p><p>As fictional as the love he had for me.</p><p><br/></p><p><em>Psst! He was only physically attracted to me.</em></p><p><em>I'm a rather stunning woman.</em></p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to 7 people with the best insights in the past month. The 7 winners are picked
by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Monthly Score
The Top Monthly Contributors ranking is a monthly metric indicating how users respond to your posts, not just how many you publish.
We look at three main things:
1
How strong your best post is —
Your highest-scoring post this month carries the most weight. One great post can take you far.
2
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
We also look at the average score of all your posts. If your work keeps getting good reactions, you get a boost.
3
How consistent the engagement you receive is —
Posting more helps — but only a little.
Extra posts give a small bonus that grows slowly, so quality always matters more than quantity.
In simple terms:
A great post beats many ignored posts
Consistently engaging posts beat one lucky hit
Spamming low-engagement posts won't help
Tips, comments, and upvotes from others matter most
This ranking is designed to reward
Thoughtful, high-quality posts
Real engagement from the community
Consistency over time — without punishing you for posting again
The Top Monthly Contributors leaderboard reflects what truly resonates, not just who posts the most.
