Somewhere Between You And Me
<p>Broken into fragments, </p><p>I think that's how feelings sometimes arrive.</p><p><strong>In pieces.</strong></p><p>A thought here.</p><p>A smile there.</p><p>A name that somehow stays in your head longer than it should.</p><p>Heartbeats are counted- Limited.</p><p>And somehow, I'd still give every beat i have left just to hear my name escape your lips again.</p><p><strong>I like you.</strong></p><p><strong>Like, really like you.</strong></p><p>Not in the fictional perfectly written kind of way😂.</p><p>Not the kind of love i've only read about in books or watched unfold on a screen.</p><p>I mean the kind that makes me want your presence around me even when nothing is happening.</p><p>I want the conversation. The silence. The random moments. The ordinary days.</p><p>I want you close- not because i need someone to complete me, but because somehow, having you around makes everything feel a little calmer. A little softer. A little more right. </p><p>And maybe, that's the strange beauty of us.</p><p>A togetherness that still leaves room for solitude.</p><p>Two people who can exist independently yet somehow feel better when the other is near.</p><p>I've read so much about love, attachment, timing, beliefs and everything inbetween.</p><p>None of it prepared me for you.</p><p>because somehow and sometimes, feelings don't follow logic.</p><p>Sometimes you simply meet someone and suddenly all the things you've read about start making sense.</p><p>You feel like home.</p><p>And no, don't get scared 🤫😂</p><p>I'm already used to rejection 😁</p><p>But unfortunately for you....</p><p><strong>I'm not giving up that easily😚.</strong></p><p>Maybe i'll get rejected.</p><p>Maybe I'll get surprised.</p><p>Maybe nothing will come of this.</p><p>But for now, I'll happily admit it:</p><p><strong>I like you.
