<p>Hi guyyys, okay I've been thinking about what I'm going to write here for the longest and I'm just going to start with a little introduction nothing too serious or maybe it is serious.</p><p><br/></p><p>You already know my name, it's written bodly on my bio</p><p><br/></p><p>Let me just get straight to why we are here...I'm going to talk about the darkest (not really the darkest) but what I'm really scared of.....</p><p><br/></p><p>I've lived all my life not believing in anything spiritual...like you know all the sentimental stuff</p><p><br/></p><p>JUJU</p><p><br/></p><p>All the "na my village people dey do me" or</p><p><br/></p><p>Those wicked uncle or evil background stuff, maybe I didn't believe cause I was scared</p><p><br/></p><p>Scared that it is true.</p><p><br/></p><p>What if I also had village people that are taunting me...this was really scary to just think about</p><p><br/></p><p>What if no matter what I do even if I'm meant to succeed...what if there are forces that are going to stop that.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Then my fear became even more when my mom told me something that disturbs me till today</p><p><br/></p><p>I took after my dad, who also did not believe in sentimental things like evil background and maybe doing somethings to let our ancestors rest, so with this thought, he married my mom who was from a really scary background....this is where things get dark</p><p><br/></p><p>In my mom's family there is a tradition, that when a woman is getting married after doing everything.</p><p><br/></p><p> The bride price is paid</p><p><br/></p><p>The traditional is done</p><p><br/></p><p> The white wedding is done</p><p><br/></p><p> See you'll think, okay what's there to do again...</p><p><br/></p><p>Well you have to buy a certain item for the father of the bride, the elders of the family and the grandmother of the bride even though she isn't alive.</p><p><br/></p><p>If not 'it was told that calamities would before the couple '</p><p><br/></p><p>Once I heard this I was so scared.</p><p><br/></p><p>I started looking back at my life and the reoccurrences in my family, and it made me shiver</p><p><br/></p><p>waiting for her to tell me my dad did the rites....</p><p><br/></p><p>But of course he didn't, remember I took after him...</p><p><br/></p><p>I asked my mom how true were this, then she told me about the story of her cousin who did not believe this tale at all and discouraged her husband from doing the rite....</p><p><br/></p><p>Well, she died just one year in to her marriage, and the husband followed shortly after.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now I said "it could be a coincidence"</p><p><br/></p><p>But then she told me about another cousin who did not also do it then it resulted to her husband dying also, and all her children being useless (harsh I know but we won't go into that now) the cycle goes on and on</p><p><br/></p><p>Then I asked "why has daddy not yet done it" and my mom just sighed and said your dad still believes it's all a lie and I know by now you're pissed at my father...I was too, but then I got to understand him maybe I'm like him maybe I'm still scared if it's true till this day.....</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
