THE BOY CHILD
<p>The Boy Child</p><p>The boy child sinks and sings through <a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://tears.He" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">tears.</a></p><p><a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://tears.He" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">He </a> is burdened, yet he must wear the crown of his sorrows alone.</p><p>He was told that a boy does not cry,so he bottles up his <a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://pain.Yet" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">pain.</a></p><p><a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://pain.Yet" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Yet </a> within him flow rivers of unspoken tears—tears of survival, forever at war with the illusion of luxury.</p><p>The boy child must survive to make Mama proud, yet no one ever offered him a hand to lift him.</p><p>He falls and rises alone, again and again, like an erection after every collapse.</p><p>The same blooming world that smiles upon the other gender often appears blurred and broken to the boy child.</p><p>Family expectations—oh, how countless they <a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://are.If" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">are.</a></p><p><a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://are.If" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">If </a> he cannot meet them, he is told he is not man enough.</p><p>No one ever told him, "Enough is enough." Enough of bottling up the pain.</p><p>No one came to save him, though he walked each day as one already dead.</p><p>They all said he should have <a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://spoken.But" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">spoken.</a></p><p><a class="tc-blue external-link external-link" href="https://spoken.But" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">But </a> when he finally did, they laughed and dismissed his words as a humorous oration.</p><p>When he cried, the world treated his grief as though it were merely a melodious rhythm.</p><p>And when he gave everything he had to prove he was man enough, they said he should never have gone that far.</p><p>Yet the only therapy the world ever offered him was solitude.</p><p style="text-align: justify; ">And there, in that lonely place, the boy child sinks into his own ocean of tears.</p>
