What's so special?</p><p><br/></p><p>"It's just a rat being intelligent."</p><p><br/></p><p>Well, whoever wrote that story definitely wasn't thinking about *a rat being intelligent*, I believe.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because that rat was telling a story about **people.**</p><p><br/></p><p>The discovery of a talent and intelligence.</p><p><br/></p><p>The struggle of having something extraordinary within you but not knowing what to do with it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Using something that amazing for just local benefit.</p><p><br/></p><p>Getting lost.</p><p><br/></p><p>Having to find purpose through undeniable, inevitable survival mode.</p><p><br/></p><p>Almost being destroyed in the risk.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being discovered by someone who understood value.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being taken advantage of.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being hurt.</p><p><br/></p><p>Breaking a promise massively.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being considerate.</p><p><br/></p><p>Repenting.</p><p><br/></p><p>Being appreciated.</p><p><br/></p><p>And then, somehow, it all ends with everyone working together.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone playing their part.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone contributing what they have.</p><p><br/></p><p>And everyone finally getting to experience the beauty of what happens when great individual abilities are harnessed together.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I think that's what really got me.</p><p><br/></p><p>**Everyone had a weakness.**</p><p><br/></p><p>Not everyone was in the spotlight.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not everyone had the same talent.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not everyone was the genius.</p><p><br/></p><p>But everyone had something to contribute.</p><p><br/></p><p>And they did what they could.</p><p><br/></p><p>They did what they should.</p><p><br/></p><p>And somehow, everyone was happy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Except for the selfish, stupid and immature ones who refused to learn sha. 😂</p><p><br/></p><p>I love Remy.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I love what his character portrayed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Actually, I think being a rat was the **best** character choice for him.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because if Remy had been human...</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmmmmmm.</p><p><br/></p><p>The message would have been weaker.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because sometimes, **we are the rats.**</p><p><br/></p><p>We have something in us.</p><p><br/></p><p>Something intelligent.</p><p><br/></p><p>Something beautiful.</p><p><br/></p><p>Something that could become extraordinary.</p><p><br/></p><p>But we don't always know how to handle it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we use it wrongly.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we hide it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we allow other people to determine what we're capable of.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we get lost.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes survival becomes our only concern.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we hurt people.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we break promises.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes we have to learn humility, responsibility, repentance and collaboration.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes, we need someone who can look at us and say,</p><p><br/></p><p>*"I see something in you."*</p><p><br/></p><p>But here's the thing:</p><p><br/></p><p>**If we refuse to go through the stages, we will remain just rats.**</p><p><br/></p><p>Not because there is anything wrong with being a rat.</p><p><br/></p><p>But because there's a difference between **having potential** and **becoming what you're capable of becoming.**</p><p><br/></p><p>Remy didn't just have talent.</p><p><br/></p><p>He had to learn what to do with it.</p><p><br/></p><p>And perhaps that's the real lesson.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can have the gift.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can have the intelligence.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can have the potential.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can even have someone who believes in you.</p><p><br/></p><p>But at some point, you have to learn how to use what is inside you.</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to grow.</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to learn.</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to take responsibility.</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to play your part.</p><p><br/></p><p>And sometimes...</p><p><br/></p><p>You have to let other people play theirs too.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because maybe the goal was never for one person to shine alone.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe the beauty is in what happens when **everybody brings what they have to the table.**</p><p><br/></p><p>Anyway...</p><p><br/></p><p>That's my crazy little thought after watching a rat cook better than most humans. 😂😭</p><p><br/></p><p>**Anticipate the next episode.**</p><p><br/></p>

At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.
Top Engagers
For the Top Engagers Track, we award the top 3 people who engage the most with other user's content via
comments.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Engagers" tab on the rankings page.
Most Engaged Content
The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
