Yes</p><p>But have things been damaged beyond repair</p><p><br/></p><p>I hear your coat on the chair sometimes</p><p>I swear the floor remembers your feet</p><p>I talk to the empty side of the bed</p><p>And the silence answers me</p><p><br/></p><p>I stubbornly stay stuck in a place</p><p>Not wanting to break free</p><p>Not wanting to leave the space where you used to be</p><p>Allowing you room to come back to me and make it right</p><p><br/></p><p>I left the door unlocked, the light on low</p><p>In case your ghost gets cold</p><p>In case you forget why you went</p><p><br/></p><p>But I know you're never coming back</p><p>Not after that night</p><p>Not after that fight</p><p>Not after I watched us turn to dust in the air</p>
