We have to find my mother!"</p><p><br/></p><p>Mercy cried as Richard tried calling Elizabeth again, but her phone remained switched off.</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel stared at the threatening message.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Whoever sent this knows everything about our investigation."</p><p><br/></p><p>Richard turned towards him.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Then we need to find out who it is."</p><p><br/></p><p>Meanwhile, Vanessa rushed home to confront her mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Mum, tell me the truth! What did you hide from me?"</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother, Margaret, looked terrified.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Vanessa, you don't understand. I was only trying to protect you."</p><p><br/></p><p>"Protect me from what? From Mercy?"</p><p><br/></p><p>Margaret suddenly broke down in tears.</p><p><br/></p><p>"I helped your grandfather hide something years ago. But I never knew he would go this far."</p><p><br/></p><p>Back at Richard's house, Mercy was sitting quietly when Daniel received another message.</p><p><br/></p><p>He opened it and showed Richard.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was a photograph of Elizabeth sitting inside an unfamiliar room.</p><p><br/></p><p>Underneath it were the words:</p><p><br/></p><p>"Stop searching, or you will never see her again."</p><p><br/></p><p>Mercy immediately burst into tears.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Please, I just want my mother back!"</p><p><br/></p><p>Richard held her hand.</p><p><br/></p><p>"I promise you, Mercy. We will bring her home."</p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly, the house security guard entered.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Sir, there's something you need to see."</p><p><br/></p><p>He handed Richard a small envelope.</p><p><br/></p><p>Richard opened it and found a handwritten note.</p><p><br/></p><p>His expression changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Daniel, do you know who brought this?"</p><p><br/></p><p>Daniel shook his head.</p><p><br/></p><p>Richard slowly read the message aloud:</p><p><br/></p><p>"The person you trust most is the one working against you."</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone became silent.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mercy looked at Daniel, then at Richard.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Who could it be?"</p><p><br/></p><p>Suddenly, Daniel's phone rang.</p><p><br/></p><p>He looked at the caller's name and froze.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was the same person he had been secretly communicating with.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mercy noticed his expression.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Daniel, who is calling you?"</p><p><br/></p><p>He couldn't answer.</p><p><br/></p><p>And just as he was about to speak, Richard shouted:</p><p><br/></p><p>"Daniel! Give me that phone!"</p><p><br/></p><p>💔 TO BE CONTINUED…</p><p>💔 END OF EPISODE 7 💔<br/></p>
