<p><strong>The Loneliness Of Healing</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe it's me.</p><p>Maybe I never learned how to belong</p><p>the way other people do.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I missed the part</p><p>where friendship comes naturally,</p><p>where connection doesn't feel like chasing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes I wonder</p><p>if it's all in my head,</p><p>if I'm just imagining the distance,</p><p>the way their eyes flick past me,</p><p>the way I shrink without meaning to.</p><p><br/></p><p>But what else can I do?</p><p><br/></p><p>I show up.</p><p>I try.</p><p>I stay open,</p><p>even when it hurts.</p><p><br/></p><p>And still,</p><p><br/></p><p>I always end up right here,</p><p>back in my own silence,</p><p>wondering what I did wrong</p><p>this time.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe healing was never</p><p>supposed to feel like this,</p><p>like learning to hold myself</p><p>while wishing someone else</p><p>would stay long enough</p><p>to hold me too.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I am not too much.</p><p>Maybe I am just tired</p><p>of making myself smaller</p><p>so people have room</p><p>to choose me.</p><p><br/></p><p>And maybe one day,</p><p>I'll stop asking</p><p>why they left,</p><p>and start asking</p><p>why I kept abandoning myself</p><p>just to make them stay.</p>
