The Morning After You Killed Yourself
<p>Your bed is exactly as you left it. Your blankets sway in corners all around your bed. </p><p>Light will slide through curtains like nothing happened. As if you didn't leave your name folded in the blankets. </p><p><br/></p><p>Your room will smell like you for a while. Not forever. Just long enough to hurt. </p><p><br/></p><p>The tap is still off waiting for you to twitch it on with your hands.</p><p>Your favorite breakfast is being cooked but you never get to enjoy it. </p><p>The birds start to chirp around your window but you can't hear them.</p><p>Your cat doesn't understand and keeps looking for you. </p><p>Your stuff remains untouched and keeps waiting for you to come back. </p><p>The earpiece on the table, right beside your books. The cup of coffee sitting pretty beside them. Your pen, wallet and ID card, eye glass, and charger -all on the table. </p><p><br/></p><p>Right in your bathroom shelf -sits the dove moisturizing body wash, body scrub, toothbrush and paste, hair scrub. Your towel still hang where you left it, creased into a shape of an absence unknown.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your gym bag and shoes awaits for the next workout. </p><p>Your tripod awaits for your next shoot. </p><p>Your mom calls over and over again -refusing to believe you are gone.</p><p>You leave hearts to ache as long as they can. </p><p><br/></p><p>The kettle will boil.</p><p>Bread will toast. </p><p>Someone will complain about the weather. </p><p>Cravings will be had.</p><p>People will fall in love, get married, breakup, divorce, kill, protect, cry and smile. Because what is life without all of these ugly beauty?. </p><p>Cars will run through the express. </p><p>And the world cruel in its efficiency will continue breathing. </p><p><br/></p><p>Your unread messages will be left unread forever. </p><p>People will text you, hoping for a reply. But you left. </p><p><br/></p><p>People will cry differently.</p><p>Some in silence, some loudly. </p><p><br/></p><p>And you? You will be everywhere but nowhere. </p><p>In hymns and songs that feels heavier at the intro of them. </p><p>The night after you die will proof something terrifying but reality. </p><p>That life does not stop for grief. </p><p>You will live in the way they say "remember when". </p><p><br/></p><p>They'll say you've gone to rest and be with the angels as a consolation for their grieve. </p><p>But there's a theory that says life after death. </p><p>There's a doctrine that says taking your own life is sin and it's punishable by eternity in hell. </p><p>Who knows?....</p><p><br/></p><p>Wait! </p><p>it's not to scare you, I'm just saying you shouldn't die. Not out of depression or the weight of life. For this too shall pass. I know those bags are heavy, but look at youuu!</p><p>I mean, who lays such beauty and handsomeness 6ft?</p><p><br/></p><p>As of January 2026 - we've had 49,311 suicide cases. (Sources from WHO). </p><p>And on January 17, 2026, we had - 2,310 suicide cases. As of today we are yet to know. </p><p><br/></p><p>The world is NOT better off without you. </p><p>There is so much beauty left for you to experience. </p><p>So much life left to live. </p><p>The darkness doesn't last forever.</p><p><br/></p><p>Please don't die. </p><p>This writer loves you.
