THE WRONG PACKAGE.
<p><br/></p><p>The Wrong Package — Part 6: The Call</p><p>The phone downstairs kept ringing.</p><p>Daniel looked at Marcus.</p><p>“Who could be calling?”</p><p>They hurried downstairs.</p><p>Daniel picked up the phone.</p><p>“Hello?”</p><p>A familiar voice answered.</p><p>“Daniel, it's me.”</p><p>Daniel froze.</p><p>It was his father's voice.</p><p>“But… you're dead.”</p><p>There was a short silence.</p><p>“No, son. I never died.”</p><p>Daniel looked at Marcus and Evelyn in confusion.</p><p>“Then where are you?”</p><p>“I can't explain everything over the phone. Go to the old house. You'll find the answers there.”</p><p>“The old house? We're already here!”</p><p>Another silence.</p><p>Then his father said:</p><p>“Look behind the painting in the living room.”</p><p>The call ended.</p><p>Daniel rushed to the painting.</p><p>Behind it was a small metal box.</p><p>He opened it with one of the golden keys.</p><p>Inside was an old photograph, a handwritten letter, and the fourth key.</p><p>Daniel picked up the letter.</p><p>At the bottom, one sentence stood out:</p><p>“The fifth key is closer than you think.”</p><p>Daniel looked at Marcus.</p><p>Marcus looked at Evelyn.</p><p>Nobody spoke.</p><p>Then Daniel noticed something strange.</p><p>The fourth key had a name engraved on it.</p><p>MARCUS.</p><p>Daniel slowly looked up.</p><p>“Marcus… why is your name on this key?”</p><p>Marcus stared at it.</p><p>“I honestly have no idea.”</p><p>And for the first time, even Marcus looked completely confused.</p><p>To be continued…</p>
