<p><br/></p><p>They said time heals.</p><p>Nobody warned us that sometimes time only moves, while the wound waits for permission to close.</p><p><br/></p><p>They said "lock in while you are young. Build YOUR career. Collect the certifications. It is easier when you are the youngest person in every room. Wear your teenagehood because it is a deadline. </p><p>So I started racing. Because I was afraid of becoming late.</p><p>Somewhere along the way, growing up became a competition against invisible clocks.</p><p><br/></p><p>Twenty <span style="background-color: transparent;">is already behind.</span></p><p>Every birthday became less of a celebration and more of a progress report. Till I became 20. </p><p>They started to say the same about 20s too.</p><p><br/></p><p>It is exhausting to constantly measure your life against people who simply started at different times or even are much more older</p><p>Someone is already a doctor. Someone already has a master's degree. Someone has travelled the world. Someone has built the business you are still dreaming about.</p><p><br/></p><p>And quietly, without saying it aloud, you begin asking yourself a dangerous question, "Am I behind?".</p><p>Maybe not. Maybe you have been comparing different chapters of different books.</p><p>Maybe becoming the youngest person in every room was never the assignment.</p><p>Maybe the assignment was becoming someone worthy of the rooms that will come later.</p><p><br/></p><p>There is a strange kind of freedom in realizing that every season has its own definition of success. </p><p>Success can be graduating. Success can be surviving a difficult semester. Success can be learning how to manage money. Success can be resting without apologizing. Success can be finishing one thing before chasing the next.</p><p>We romanticize people who burn out for ambition.</p><p>We applaud exhaustion as if it were proof of purpose.</p><p>As if sleeping less means dreaming more.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I am learning a quieter lesson.</p><p>That becoming does not have to be violent.</p><p>That growth is allowed to arrive without panic.</p><p>That there is dignity in taking life by one assignment every moment. </p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe healing has a timeline.</p><p>Maybe careers have timelines.</p><p>Maybe love has one too.</p><p>Maybe life was never asking us to finish everything at twenty.</p><p>Maybe it was only asking us to be faithful to today's work.</p><p><br/></p><p>There will be a season for the degree. A season for the next qualification. A season for the career shift. A season for the life I cannot afford yet.<br/>None of those seasons need to happen all at once.</p><p><br/></p><p>And perhaps the most underrated success of all is this: Looking at your life today, raising your head without shame, and saying, "I am exactly where today's version of me is meant to be becoming."</p><p><br/></p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The Most Engaged Content recognizes users whose content received the most engagement during the month.
We pick the top 3.
The winners are picked using the "Top Monthly Contributors" tab on the rankings page.
Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
