<p>Most friendships don’t end with a fight. They just... fade.</p><p><br/></p><p>No final call. No big betrayal. Just slower replies, fewer jokes, less effort. Then one day, you realize you haven’t spoken in months, and it doesn’t even feel strange anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes it’s not about silence. Some friendships were tied to a person or a phase. You were close because life placed you close. Then that person leaves, or that season ends, and so does the bond.</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s not that anyone stopped trying. The thread that held you both together just snapped, and neither of you knew how to tie it again.</p><p><br/></p><p>You scroll past their updates now. You remember inside jokes but don’t send them. You type “how have you been?” and delete it before hitting send.</p><p><br/></p><p>Most friendships don’t explode. They starve.</p><p>They die quietly, buried under unread messages and unsaid words.</p><p><br/></p><p>Funny thing is, no one ever attends the funeral.</p>
