Wanted or used?
<p><span style="background-color: transparent;">There is a difference between being desired and being valued.</span></p><p><br/></p><p>Someone can crave your presence, constantly want physical intimacy, compliment your body, and still know very little about your heart.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is where things can become confusing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sex can create a powerful sense of closeness, but closeness in the bedroom doesn't always mean emotional intimacy outside it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Do they care about your thoughts?</p><p>Do they listen when something is bothering you?</p><p>Do they respect your boundaries?</p><p>Do they show up when sex isn't involved?</p><p><br/></p><p>Because being wanted feels good. But being valued feels different.</p><p><br/></p><p>You shouldn't have to wonder whether someone would still care about you if sex was completely off the table.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe the real question isn't, “Do they desire me?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe it's, “Would they still choose me when there is nothing physical to gain?”</p><p><br/></p><p>How do you know when someone truly desires you and when they only desire what they can get from you?</p>
