<p>A kid of four touched my white dress with soiled hands while trying to hug Me yesterday.I frowned and said after exchanging pleasantries,"see,we got my dress stained now". I didn't feel bad. I just wanted her to know her hands were dirty. I didn't get an apology,Instead, what she said surprised <a class="tc-blue" href="https://me.Putting" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">me.Putting </a> her dress forward, she said,"Dirty me back''.</p><p>This took me to my cave of thought.</p><p>Vengeance?</p><p>Revenge?</p><p>A kid?</p><p>Seems like we have a stereotype of hitting the "an eye for an eye''button.</p><p>The kid didn't see forgiveness as an option.</p><p>She believed that she deserved her action to be reciprocated.</p><p>I wonder how revenge crossed her young mind.</p><p>I looked at her and said," I don't do revenge,I don't have to dirty your beautiful dress." Revenge? She muttered.</p><p>The word was too big for her understanding but she understood that I wasn't going to buy her idea of staining her dress.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some of us are like this,We believe we need to reciprocate every wrong done to <a class="tc-blue" href="https://us.It" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">us.It </a> is as little as not chatting up someone to ask how they are faring someone because they didn't do same for <a class="tc-blue" href="https://you.It" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">you.It </a> is as little as not greeting a person because you both saw each other and decided not to be polite.</p><p>Some say,"she didn't wish me happy birthday so I won't"</p><p>Some carry offense like badges.</p><p>They wear it like office <a class="tc-blue" href="https://tags.They" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">tags.They </a> don't believe people can change and be <a class="tc-blue" href="https://better.They" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">better.They </a> don't give benefit of doubt .Some of us go as far as sowing seeds of discord in the minds of others and making certain people look like fiends .</p><p>The next thing you hear is,"na so she dey do, or na so I hear say he be"and the line goes on.</p><p>Sometimes,we feel we can't do a thing for others because they didn't do it for us.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is the reason why some people do not believe that God can forgive their sins completely.</p><p>They don't talk to Him.</p><p>They hide their wrongs from Him forgetting that he sees and knows it all.</p><p>This mindset makes it easy for people to be judgemental and to guilt trip others.</p><p>I am not an angel right?</p><p>I just couldn't think of staining the kid's dress because she did <a class="tc-blue" href="https://so.People" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">so.People </a> make mistakes that they are not proud of.</p><p>We don't have to use it to label them as whatever they <a class="tc-blue" href="https://did.We" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">did.We </a> can pretend like their flaws are invisible! At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

We pick the top 3.

Contributor Rankings
The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
