<p>Making ends meet is the purpose,</p><p><br/></p><p>Working hard may not be hard enough.</p><p><br/></p><p>In the process, the means become the focus,</p><p><br/></p><p>And the soft life imagined will be unnoticeably rough.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Who will spread the word</p><p><br/></p><p>That they are thinkers too who found themselves in hospitals' first ward</p><p><br/></p><p>Who will remind them that they left home to feed home,</p><p><br/></p><p>Now their kids are "home alone"</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>"Just one more, just a little more" they say</p><p><br/></p><p>During leisure they use work to while time away</p><p><br/></p><p>And the plan is "man must work for man to wak"</p><p><br/></p><p>So they grind and grind and still lack</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Does working round the clock makes one productive?</p><p><br/></p><p>Could we rely on one who is 24/7 active?</p><p><br/></p><p>When the mind is overly stressed won't it malfunction?</p><p><br/></p><p>Who knows, workaholism may be another unction?</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Dearly beloved, live through results and profit,</p><p><br/></p><p>Not through mere business needing just work to prove it!</p><p><br/></p><p>We all have just one shot at life,</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't shoot amiss and blame it on fruitless strife</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't be too thorough and end up not achieving,</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't be too busy without leaving a legacy for the living.</p><p><br/></p><p>Cause even some animals have carved their history in the heart of time,</p><p><br/></p><p>The world of football will not remember the most hardworking team with applaud </p><p><br/></p><p>They will remember those who became champions by the goals scored</p><p><br/></p><p>Work hard, but not hard enough to make work your lord.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>👉🏾Samodan</p>
