<p>Leaving your house every morning feels like walking into an active shakedown where everybody has a different uniform. </p>
<p>Before midday, the POS operator has charged you a ridiculous fee just to touch your own cash, the ride driver is demanding double the app price because of "fuel and traffic," and house agents are asking for inspection and agreement fees that cost almost as much as the actual rent.</p>
<p>Even the random guy on the street wants "something for the boys" just because you parked for two minutes, while your bank quietly deducts sixteen different maintenance fees for an app that barely works. </p>
<p>If you fight every crooked charge, you’ll spend your whole day arguing in the sun, so we all just sigh, open our apps, and pay the "peace of mind" tax.</p>
