Every person is expected to operate only one personal TwoCents account.
Creating, controlling, or using duplicate accounts to obtain rewards, increase engagement, influence rankings, enter competitions, or gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
Duplicate-account abuse includes:
- Creating additional accounts to earn Contributor Points or Points-to-Coupons.
- Using extra accounts to qualify for Referral Earning.
- Creating accounts to increase your views, listens, upvotes, comments, replies, or other engagement.
- Using several accounts to influence Monthly Community Prizes, competitions, rankings, or community selections.
- Creating a new account after another account you control has been suspended or restricted.
- Allowing another person to operate an account on your behalf for the purpose of bypassing earning rules.
TwoCents may consider shared devices, payment information, bank accounts, contact details, usage patterns, account behaviour, and other relevant signals when investigating duplicate-account activity.
Creating or operating duplicate accounts to earn rewards may result in permanent suspension of all accounts involved, forfeiture of associated earnings, and permanent removal from TwoCents earning programmes.
The country and local currency selected on your TwoCents profile must accurately reflect your genuine location or banking situation.
You must not select the local currency of a country where you do not reside and where you do not have a legitimate bank account domiciled.
For example, you must not select Nigeria or the Nigerian naira solely because certain earning or withdrawal features are currently available to Nigerian users.
You must not:
- Enter false location or currency information to unlock earning features.
- Use another person's bank account to falsely represent your country of residence.
- Regularly change your local currency to gain access to different earning opportunities.
- Attempt to bypass country-specific payment, withdrawal, or eligibility restrictions.
TwoCents is working to expand earning support to more countries and currencies. Users in unsupported locations should continue creating, engaging, and building their profiles while expansion is underway.
Providing false country, currency, or banking information may result in withdrawal restrictions, removal of earning eligibility, forfeiture of rewards, account suspension, or additional verification requirements.
Using another account that you own, operate, influence, or control to engage with your own content is strictly prohibited.
This includes using another account to:
- View your insights.
- Play or listen to your audio content.
- Upvote your content.
- Comment on your own insights.
- Reply to comments on your own content.
- Increase your Contributor Score or engagement statistics.
- Improve the ranking or visibility of your content.
- Increase your Contributor Points earnings.
Asking friends, relatives, employees, colleagues, or community members to create fake or inactive accounts for the purpose of engaging with your content is also prohibited.
Genuine engagement must come from real users who independently choose to read, listen to, and interact with your content.
Commenting on, upvoting, viewing, listening to, or otherwise engaging with your own content through a second account may result in the permanent suspension or deletion of all accounts involved.
You must not use another account to financially support yourself or artificially generate earnings.
Prohibited behaviour includes:
- Sending Tips to yourself through another account.
- Subscribing to your own profile or content using another account.
- Using several accounts to repeatedly send money between accounts.
- Using another person's payment method to disguise a self-payment.
- Asking someone to create an account solely to Tip or subscribe to you.
- Coordinating Tips or subscriptions with an agreement to return the money outside TwoCents.
- Using payments to manipulate rankings, rewards, eligibility, competitions, or earning statistics.
Tips and subscriptions are intended to represent genuine support from readers and listeners who independently value a contributor's content.
Any attempt to manufacture this support is considered payment and earning manipulation.
Self-tipping, self-subscription, payment cycling, or related abuse may result in permanent removal from earning programmes, forfeiture of funds, withdrawal restrictions, and permanent account suspension.
TwoCents values original ideas, authentic experiences, personal perspectives, and meaningful contributions.
You must not copy another person's insight, article, comment, reply, audio content, description, title, or other creative work and present it as your own.
Prohibited behaviour includes:
- Copying another TwoCents user's insight.
- Copying another user's comment or reply.
- Reposting articles from blogs, websites, or publications without permission.
- Copying content from social media and presenting it as original.
- Making minor wording changes to copied content to disguise plagiarism.
- Translating another person's content and presenting it as your own.
- Scraping or automatically importing content from other platforms.
You may quote or reference another person's work where appropriate, but quotations should be limited, clearly identified, and properly credited to the original source.
Content that infringes copyright or appears to have been copied may be removed while an investigation is conducted.
Copying another user's content or comments may result in reduced earnings, removal from earning programmes, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension depending on the seriousness and frequency of the violation.
Access to the TwoCents General Community is reserved for users who have demonstrated both meaningful contribution and genuine engagement on the platform.
To become eligible to join the TwoCents General Community, you must have:
- A Contributor Score of at least 500.
- An Engagement Score of at least 500.
Your Contributor Score reflects the genuine engagement received by your own content.
Your Engagement Score reflects your meaningful participation in content and conversations created by other members.
Requiring both scores helps ensure that members of the General Community have contributed content and have also participated positively in the wider TwoCents ecosystem.
Meeting the score requirements does not excuse a user from following TwoCents' Community Rules. Access may be delayed, denied, or withdrawn where an account has suspicious activity, unresolved violations, an incomplete profile, or a history of community misconduct.
Artificially increasing either score through duplicate accounts, coordinated engagement, copied comments, spam, or other manipulation is prohibited.
Additional content rules apply to users who are enrolled in Contributor Points Earning.
Content must remain exclusive to TwoCents
Content published on TwoCents while you are enrolled in Contributor Points Earning must not be published in full on another platform.
You may promote your content and share the link to your TwoCents insight on:
- X
- Telegram
- Email newsletters
- Other websites and online communities
You may also share a short introduction, quotation, summary, or preview that directs readers to the complete insight on TwoCents.
However, you must not publish the complete article, complete audio transcript, or substantially identical version of the content on another platform.
This rule protects the value of original content published on TwoCents and ensures that Contributor Points reward content created specifically for the TwoCents community.
Repeated violations may result in the affected content becoming ineligible for earnings, Contributor Points being reversed, or the contributor being removed from Contributor Points Earning.
TwoCents rewards thoughtful, valuable content rather than excessive publishing.
Users enrolled in Contributor Points Earning should not publish more than:
- 2 insights in one day
- 5 insights in one week
- 15 insights in one month
Publishing above any of these limits may trigger an automatic posting penalty.
The penalty may reduce your Contributor Points balance or reduce the amount you earn from your content.
The limits are intended to:
- Encourage quality over quantity.
- Discourage low-effort and repetitive content.
- Prevent users from flooding community feeds.
- Give each published insight enough time to reach readers.
- Protect the fairness and sustainability of Contributor Points.
Deleting an insight after publishing it does not necessarily remove it from the posting count used to calculate penalties.
Attempting to bypass posting limits by deleting and reposting content, publishing through duplicate accounts, or splitting one piece of content into several unnecessary posts may be treated as earning manipulation.
All TwoCents earning systems are designed to reward authentic contribution, genuine engagement, audience support, community growth, and creative achievement.
You must not attempt to manipulate:
- Contributor Points
- Points-to-Coupons
- Referral Earning
- Tips
- Subscriptions
- Monthly Community Prizes
- Competitions
- Contributor Score
- Engagement Score
- Content rankings or recommendations
Prohibited earning activity includes:
- Posting meaningless or irrelevant comments solely to earn points.
- Repeatedly posting the same or substantially similar comment.
- Copying comments from other users.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate engagement.
- Using AI to mass-produce generic comments or replies.
- Coordinating engagement exchanges with other users.
- Offering money, rewards, or favours in exchange for engagement.
- Creating fake referrals or misleading people into registering.
- Repeatedly engaging with one person solely to increase earnings.
- Attempting to exploit bugs, technical errors, or system weaknesses.
Engagement should be thoughtful, relevant to the content, and written because you genuinely want to participate in the conversation.
TwoCents may reduce or withhold points where engagement appears repetitive, low quality, automated, coordinated, copied, artificial, or otherwise ineligible.
Serious or repeated manipulation may result in reward reversals, withdrawal restrictions, removal from earning programmes, temporary suspension, or permanent account suspension.
TwoCents welcomes strong opinions, thoughtful debate, disagreement, humour, cultural discussion, and different perspectives.
However, every member must treat other people with basic respect.
You must not:
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate another user.
- Repeatedly target another person across insights or comments.
- Publish another person's private information without permission.
- Impersonate another person, organisation, or TwoCents representative.
- Use hateful or dehumanising language against individuals or groups.
- Encourage violence, criminal activity, or serious physical harm.
- Publish illegal, exploitative, or deliberately harmful content.
- Send unwanted promotional or repetitive direct messages.
- Use comments primarily to insult, provoke, or derail discussions.
- Make knowingly false accusations intended to damage another user.
You may criticise an idea, argument, public action, organisation, or piece of content. You should not use disagreement as an excuse for personal abuse.
Where a discussion becomes hostile, TwoCents may remove comments, restrict participation, close a discussion, issue a warning, or suspend the accounts involved.
Severe threats, impersonation, targeted harassment, illegal activity, or conduct that places another person at risk may result in immediate permanent suspension.
TwoCents may use automated systems, account reviews, payment information, user reports, technical signals, and human moderation to detect and investigate possible violations.
Automated systems may reduce or withhold earnings where activity appears suspicious, repetitive, coordinated, low quality, or ineligible.
When determining the appropriate action, TwoCents may consider:
- The seriousness of the violation.
- Whether the behaviour was intentional.
- Whether earnings or other users were affected.
- The user's previous account history.
- Whether the behaviour was repeated after a warning.
- The scale and duration of the activity.
- Any explanation or evidence provided by the user.
Enforcement actions may include:
- Content or comment removal.
- Reduced or withheld points.
- Reversal or forfeiture of rewards.
- Withdrawal restrictions.
- Removal from a specific earning programme.
- Loss of General Earning Eligibility.
- Temporary account suspension.
- Permanent account suspension or deletion.
TwoCents may take immediate action without a prior warning where a violation involves fraud, duplicate accounts, self-engagement, self-payments, serious harassment, threats, security abuse, or other severe misconduct.
If you believe your content, earnings, eligibility, or account was restricted in error, you may contact hello@twocents.space to request a review.
When requesting a review, include your TwoCents username, a clear explanation of the issue, and any relevant supporting information.
