I think I finally understand Luke 15 because I lived it. Practically. Not verbatim, of course, but a variation.

For the non-Bible scholars, it’s the story of the prodigal son. In my version, she didn’t ask for her inheritance. She simply disappeared, suffered, and ran home. That child is me. I ran from writing, gaslit my inspiration out of me, and abandoned the very thing that gave it life.

But my return came with a fatted calf. No grand entrance, just a text, a reminder of a promise, and a call.

An opportunity to do what I love? Who says no? Definitely not me.

Oh, I bit hard. And chewed.

But I’m not stingy, my loves. I left some meat for you.

Ready for your first bite? Open the pot and say ahhh! 🤭

https://twocents.space/buy-magazine-TOLUWALASE35iy/twocents-magazine-october-2026/
