<p>The Empty Chair</p><p><br></p><p>Every evening, an old man sat on the same bench in the park, staring at the empty chair beside him. People thought he was lonely, but they never asked why.</p><p><br></p><p>One day, a little girl sat in that chair and smiled.</p><p><br></p><p>"Who are you waiting for?" she asked.</p><p><br></p><p>"My wife," he replied softly. "She passed away three years ago, but this is where we used to watch the sunset together."</p><p><br></p><p>The little girl held his hand until the sun disappeared behind the clouds.</p><p><br></p><p>As they stood to leave, the old man smiled for the first time in years.</p><p><br></p><p>Sometimes people don't need answers. They just need someone willing to sit beside them.</p><p><br></p><p>Never assume someone is okay just because they smile.</p>
