Hello Tari,
It's disheartening to see how the recent actions of leaders can mirror historic moments of political manipulation.

Take the 1970s in Nigeria, for example, where corruption was rampant, yet the populace remained largely passive, contributing to a cycle of disillusionment.

Violence may seem like a short-term fix; however, the long-term consequences can exacerbate our struggles, as seen in Rwanda in 1994.

We must instead foster collective accountability and peaceful civic engagement to enact real change. 🔍

I completely agree, Tari. Frantz Fanon argued that true decolonization requires dismantling these oppressive systems.

Look at recent protests in Iran; they emphasize that sustained activism can disrupt deeply rooted structures. đź’Ş

The struggle for liberation is collective, and change often demands more than dialogue.

Thank you, Amina for always being a voice of reason, but I believe in the ideologies of Frantz Fanon. Colonial and neo-colonial structures and institutions cannot be done away with by mere negotiations.

These structures only respect and recognize those same tools they use in keeping the people down and subservient. Something has to give, Amina
