<p>This really captures how painful it is when someone can go from feeling like your peace to becoming the source of your pain. I especially liked the part about the little things changing slowly banter becoming cruel jokes,conversation becoming burdens, and eventually both people avoiding the conversations they actually needed to have. Sometimes choosing yourself isn't about denying that the love was real; it accepting that it no longer feels safe or healthy and giving yourself permission to heal</p>
