<p>“Sometimes what you call pretence is simply preparation you didn't witness.” That line says a lot. I think people sometimes become so attached to the version of someone they first met that any attempt to improve is interpreted as pride or showing off. But growth will naturally change how you speak, think and carry yourself. Nobody should have to remain the same just to make others comfortable. There's a difference between being humble and refusing to grow. 👏❤️</p>
