<p>This piece hits different if you’ve actually survived suicidal thoughts.</p><p>I struggled with it for a really long time and the only reason I didn’t actually follow through was the fear of what lies ahead.</p><p>I didn’t care about the people I would leave behind to be honest. I just wanted to leave and be as far away as humanly possible.</p><p>And quite a number of things pushed me down that dark road.</p><p>It didn’t help that I was branded a closed off child either…</p>
