So I put it to you: if the reason why you treat a person well or poorly is by gender, something is inherently wrong with you as an individual. Irrespective of gender, if you don't think your significant other deserves love and respect, then I'm sorry but you should consider devoting your life to prayer.
If a man asks a woman out to eat, he pays by default. Yet, depending on the context of their relationship, the woman can choose to cover for herself if she can. One thing I've learned is "don't partake in what you cannot afford" so that in case you do run into a demon with a beard that insists you put your body on the table, you can just refund him. In the end, men treat women the way women have asked them to be treated, or how they were told to by others in the past. These things are learned
Now I am a woman myself and I have indeed been wounded by the system, but I'm not going to use my gender as a playing card. I'm not interested in competing to seem better than a man, and any money I make is because I want to have money, not to prove I don't need a man. I have enough self respect to not bend and agree for anyone to use my head to wash the floor. The bare minimum of human decency is respect. Royal treatment is not owed one another, only charity, kindness, and sound judgement.

Marriage was never designed as a servant-master relationship, a man shouldn't expect to sleep with a woman because he covered her dinner, and a woman should have self respect to refuse unwanted advances if need be
The Social cues between genders that point to the dating culture we have is born from widely propagated negativity towards the male gender wherein the average woman is so focused on not being "tied down" that they end up taking on more than their nervous systems should carry. The mere fact that men and women are wired differently means we should never expect the exact same version or quality of input or output from either side but to try to work together for the love of all that is good...
