<p>Beware of reading this</p><p>It's not a beautiful write up but a rant from a Nigerian girl.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Adulthood na scam you better get am for your mind, you gats to hustle, make a living 24/7"</p><p>Oh how much I vibed to that song, I knew adulthood was a scam because in 300L, life was already hitting me gbas gbos.</p><p><br/></p><p>Come to find out that the easiest part of my life so far was getting my bachelor's degree. It was structured, I knew what I was supposed to do.</p><p>Attend class, do assignments, get ready for tests and exams and be a good girl perhaps.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nobody prepared me for the world outside school.</p><p>Ahn ahn nau, why is everything this complicated and confusing even after 2 years of graduating.</p><p> All I got was a toxic job that almost made me lose my mental health, a saturated labour market with a president that's about to ruin her 20's.</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh how much I love my birthdays but tell me why I got really depressed on my last birthday and I ended all celebrations when 12PM hit.</p><p>Wo I don't want "the love is massive" anymore, just put something in my opay.</p><p><br/></p><p>I have sha gotten my pvc, let's start from there and somebody should tell my mum that I don't need a man oo, I just need a remote job that pays in dollars abeg.</p><p><br/></p><p>To my lovely readers, how is adulthood treating you?</p><p><br/></p>
