Authors, What Exactly Is Wrong With You?!
<p>I was reading a book. I fell in love with a character and he became my favorite.</p><p>Then at the end of chapter 26...</p><p>“<em>He drew his last breath."</em></p><p><strong>WHATTTTTT😭</strong>😭😭</p><p>Out of all the characters in the book, you looked at the one I had become emotionally attached to and said, <em>“Yes! This one.”</em></p><p>No! You killed him.</p><p>And the worst part? There are still 50 chapters left. LIKE FREAKING 50 CHAPTERS LEFT!!</p><p>So you expect me to go: <em>Hmm, interesting. Let's see what happens next.</em></p><p><strong>NOOOO</strong>!</p><p>Nothing happens next.</p><p>I am still in Chapter 26.</p><p>I'm there mentally...emotionally...</p><p>I have not moved on!</p><p>I am still staring at the page where my favourite character died, hoping the author suddenly realizes they made a terrible mistake.</p><p>I got attached to my character. I followed him from the beginning. I watched him make bad decisions. I defended him when everybody else hated him. I memorized his personality. I even imagined what he looked like.</p><p>And then you killed him? Just like that?</p><p>How dare you? Who gave you the rights??? Huh?</p><p>I am willing to accept ANYTHING—A plot twist, a miracle...Anything.</p><p>Just bring my person back. 😭</p>
