Birthday Blues.
<p>I’m just not feeling it anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ve got birthday blues.</p><p><br/></p><p>I don’t know why I’m feeling so down a few days before my birthday. It’s not the usual.</p><p><br/></p><p>During my previous birthdays, days before the D-Day, I’d be excited. I’d remind a lot of people, count down the days, and look forward to it.</p><p><br/></p><p>But this year feels different.</p><p><br/></p><p>So I’ve questioned myself: Is it because I’m getting older? Is it because I’m in a different environment?</p><p><br/></p><p>Honestly, I was hoping to celebrate my last teenage year before turning twenty. Not in a grand way, but in a way that would still make me feel happy and elated.</p><p><br/></p><p>I thought, even though I can’t get a cake, throw a mini party, or host a picnic, I should at least get my pictures taken in my best outfit.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I can’t.</p><p><br/></p><p>It hurts so bad, honestly.</p><p><br/></p><p>It hurts like hell.</p><p><br/></p><p>I thought I had escaped it last time, but it came back again, and this time, it became worse.</p><p><br/></p><p>Allergy.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can’t even get water to touch my skin without feeling like my skin is burning.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can’t itch my skin because if I do, it’ll only get worse.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can’t take pictures because my skin isn’t looking good.</p><p><br/></p><p>We all thought it was normal, or probably mosquito bites. Turns out, it’s an allergy to water.</p><p><br/></p><p>Make it make sense?</p><p><br/></p><p>Can this birthday get any worse?</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ve cried already, and I don’t think I can cry again. I just want my birthday to pass quickly because I’m tired.</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh well.</p><p><br/></p><p>I’d probably post my story on the 8th of September if I’m feeling it.</p><p><br/></p><p>This birthday is looking like the worst one I’ve ever had.</p><p><br/></p><p>Happy 19th birthday to me, though.</p>
