Where do you think I'll be when I'm gone." The people went quiet in the warmth of the sun And the hand eased off the executioner's gun. Death said " I'm sorry for all that I've done, but without me, what would your lives have become? Without a last breath, the first means nothing What risk is asking the girl you're crushing If your heart doesn't bleed, if your cheeks aren't blushing My hands are the hands of the clock And for life to begin, there must be a stop.
