DEFEATED YET AGAIN
<p>I stood audaciously,</p><p>with determination.</p><p><br/></p><p>My armour carefully worn,</p><p>my hand wrapped tightly around my sword</p><p>as I waited for my opponent.</p><p><br/></p><p>I was really determined to finish him.</p><p><br/></p><p>I must.</p><p><br/></p><p>Once and for all.</p><p><br/></p><p>But after a while, I suddenly started shivering.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then I saw him coming through the smoke.</p><p><br/></p><p>I took a step back.</p><p><br/></p><p>I took a deep breath.</p><p>I tried to muster courage.</p><p><br/></p><p>But my body was failing me.</p><p><br/></p><p>My hands were shaking against my will.</p><p>My chest was hurting seriously.</p><p>It was literally burning.</p><p><br/></p><p>My lips trembled.</p><p><br/></p><p>My opponent was fast approaching,</p><p>wearing that devilish smirk that said,</p><p><br/></p><p>โGotcha.โ</p><p><br/></p><p>In a swift moment,</p><p>the sword fell from my hands.</p><p><br/></p><p>My knees gave way.</p><p><br/></p><p>I fell to my knees,</p><p>holding my aching chest.</p><p><br/></p><p>My body was still trembling.</p><p><br/></p><p>My opponent bent down to my height.</p><p>He smiled victoriously.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then he muttered,</p><p><br/></p><p>โYou are a coward.</p><p>You know that, right?</p><p><br/></p><p>You didn't even put up a fight.</p><p>You just gave up.โ</p><p><br/></p><p>Then he stood up.</p><p><br/></p><p>He vanished into the darkness</p><p>after looking at me one more time.</p><p><br/></p><p>And I knelt there,</p><p><br/></p><p>defeated.</p><p><br/></p><p>Anxiety won again.</p>
