I was scrolling through the streets of Facebook when I saw the meme I used for the cover pic of this insight, and it made me remember one scenario that still cracks me up anytime I remember it . So actually, my bestie had been having issues in her relationship. She said the guy was cheating. It was even obvious. I saw him one day with one fair babe at Ibaka Market, but I pretended not to see them. I didn't even tell my friend sef No be my mouth Dem go hear that one . So that lovely Saturday, around 7pm, I just got back from rehearsal. As I wanted to open my door, I heard someone sobbing. I looked towards my neighbour's room. This girl's slippers were there. I just burst inside. I saw my girl crying. Guyssss, if you see this girl's eyes. 😭 Omo, I already knew it was that boy's issue again. Me and my neighbour pet this girl tire. She no gree. Sometimes she would even increase the volume. Omo, I won't lie, it was funny to me. 😂 We had told this girl to leave this guy. She no gree. She started crying again, saying it was the boy's fault ooo, blabla. She said the guy went to the club with his new girl oo. My friend cried ooo. I had to put her on my chest. She looked at me and was like, “Favour, am I not a good girlfriend?” Eyaaaaahhh 🤧 Ndo ooo. Even the hunger I was feeling disappeared. Me and my neighbour sha joined mouth to insult the boy wella. We called the poor guy all sorts of names oo . Few minutes later, she received a text. She stood up and went to do lip combo. For person wey dey cry just now. We were just looking at her. “I’m going joor.” “Should we escort you?” She said no. “Oya na, take care. Don't think about that silly boy again.” “Don't call him silly boy joor.” I just opened mouth. 😑 “Oya shaa, take care.” Fast-forward to midnight ooo. I texted this girl, “How are you?” She replied “I'm fine joor. I dey cuddle my babe.” WTF??? 😭😭😭 “Babe kwa? Which one?” “How many babe I get?” “Upon all what you said he did to you??” “Favour, you can't understand as you no get man.” Enhhhhhhh. Wow. “Oya nah, gbam. No be your fault. Na me put mouth for una matter.” Na why I no dey like put mouth for relationship people matter oo. Make nobody put me for talk bikonu. 😑
