“I Borrowed Money to Learn a Skill… Now Look at Me 😂😭”.

So I finally entered the digital skills world. 😭😂 And honestly? It has actually been FUN. I’ve learnt things I didn’t even know existed, tried new things, made mistakes, learnt again… basically, my brain has been doing overtime. 😂 But please, no be say you go go borrow money like me o! 😭😂 I knew I wanted to learn something new, so I sat down and calculated everything. I asked myself, “If this thing works, how long will it take me to recover what I spent? And if it doesn’t work immediately, can I handle it?” After all the calculations, overthinking and small-small fear… I registered. 😂 And guess what? I’ve already made more than what I paid to register. 😭🔥 In fact, at the moment, I’ve made roughly twice what I spent to get started. Is it some huge, life-changing amount? No. 😂 But yoooooooo… the fact that I was able to make that money from something I just started? That one made me pause. 😭 Because imagine being able to consistently make even that amount every week. That’s where the real potential starts becoming interesting. But let me tell you something else this experience has taught me… Making money is NOT easy. Because why am I now the one trying to convince complete strangers to trust me? 😭😂 “Hello, are you interested in learning this skill?” “Hi, I have something that might interest you…” “Good afternoon…” At some point I was like, “God abeg, these people should just buy something.” 😂😭 You actually have to learn how to communicate, follow up, handle rejection and convince someone who doesn't even know you that what you're offering is worth their money. It can be tiringggg. 😭 But I’m learning. And one thing I’m beginning to understand is consistency matters A LOT. You can't try something for three days, make no money and conclude, “This thing doesn't work.” 😂 Sometimes, you have to keep showing up, keep learning, keep improving and keep putting yourself out there even when the results aren't coming as fast as you expected. One sale can excite you, but consistency is what can turn a small beginning into something bigger. And honestly, that’s the biggest win for me right now. I didn’t just spend money on a course. I took a chance on myself, learnt something new and actually got my first results from it. Small money is still money. Small progress is still progress. And please, don’t see my result and think “Let me borrow money and do it too.” 😂 NO O! Do your own calculations. Learn properly. Start within your means and, most importantly, understand that learning a skill doesn't automatically guarantee money. You still have to put in the work. Because the goal isn't to make money once.
