<p>IF LOVE FINDS ME AGAIN</p><p><br/></p><p>If love finds me again</p><p>I hope it comes gently.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because once,</p><p>I wanted someone so badly</p><p>I started wondering</p><p>if being enough</p><p>was something I had to earn.</p><p><br/></p><p>I gave him pieces of me</p><p>I didn't know how to take back.</p><p><br/></p><p>And still,</p><p>he made me feel</p><p>like there was something missing in me.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe I wasn't his kind of love.</p><p>Maybe I was never going to be</p><p>the person he chose.</p><p><br/></p><p>But God,</p><p>I wanted him to be.</p><p><br/></p><p>I wanted his name</p><p>to feel like home.</p><p>I wanted his arms</p><p>to be where I could finally rest.</p><p><br/></p><p>Instead,</p><p>I learned what it feels like</p><p>to love someone</p><p>who doesn't love you enough</p><p>to stay.</p><p><br/></p><p>So if love finds me again,</p><p>I don't want to spend it</p><p>proving that I'm worth choosing.</p><p><br/></p><p>I want someone</p><p>who sees me</p><p>and doesn't make me question</p><p>what he sees.</p><p><br/></p><p>Someone who stays</p><p>when the conversation gets quiet.</p><p>Someone who notices</p><p>when my smile isn't quite real.</p><p><br/></p><p>And if I love you,</p><p>I hope I never have to beg</p><p>to be loved back.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because I've learned</p><p>that love isn't supposed to feel</p><p>like convincing someone</p><p>to choose you.</p><p><br/></p><p>So if you find me,</p><p><br/></p><p>hold me softly.</p><p><br/></p><p>And if you can't stay,</p><p><br/></p><p>please don't teach my heart</p><p>to call your leaving</p><p>love.</p>
