MEMORY.

Memory is a strange thing.

It's just like dealing with something,or rather someone that lacks respect and boundaries.

It doesn't knock before entering.

It doesn't ask if you're ready.

It always arrives unannounced.

Sometimes, it arrives as a smell.

A song.

A place you haven't visited in years.

A name you thought you'd forgotten.

And suddenly...

You're there again.

If course not....

Not physically.

But somewhere inside you,

a younger version of you is still standing in that moment—

waiting for something that already happened.

Yeah .....

Maybe that's the cruelest thing about memory.

It gives you pieces of people

without giving you the person.

You remember their voice,

but you can't hear it anymore.

You remember the way they laughed,

but you can't make them laugh again.

You remember how something felt,

even when you can no longer explain why.

And sometimes I wonder...

Do we really remember things?

Or do we remember the version of ourselves

that existed when those things happened?

Because memory changes.

Every time we revisit it,

something shifts.

A detail disappears.

A feeling becomes heavier.

A face becomes blurry.

Until one day,

you're not sure if you miss the person...

Or if you miss who you were

when they were still part of your life.

Maybe memories aren't meant to keep the past alive.

Maybe they're proof

that something once mattered enough

to leave a mark.

And perhaps that's why some memories never leave.

Not because they want to hurt us.

But because, somewhere deep inside us,

we're still not ready to let them become

just a memory.

Maybe we don't remember moments; maybe they remember us.
